Interest rates have broken through historic lows for the second time in as many years.  We are currently offering some of the lowest interest rates likely available in our lifetime.  Our hope is that with these low interest rates, the housing market will again be a strong pillar of our economy.

With so much uncertainty in the economy consumers are more comfortable with long-term , low yield investments, such as mortgage-backed securities, rather than short-term, high yield investments like stocks.  The combination of the decline in the euro and a general malaise in European markets has investors flocking to the safety of fixed-income investments stateside.
