Community Cares

Both the Alpine staff and company have many volunteer organizations they support. The following are causes we champion either through donations or volunteering. We encourage you to contact us if you would like to get involved as well. If you have any suggestions, please email us here: communitycares@alpinemc.com

For more than 75 years Doernbecher Children’s Hospital has been a place where children and their families from throughout the Northwest have turned for help, healing and hope. Today Doernbecher researchers are on the brink of discoveries that will forever change children’s medicine at a time when an exploding need for care — and the rising cost of care — have stretched the institution’s resources to the limit.

Schoolhouse Supplies
2735 NE 82nd Ave.
Portland, OR 97220
http://www.schoolhousesupplies.org

Pioneered by one of the Community Cares committee members Seth Warren, we jumped in the ring to support The Schoolhouse Supplies drive. The Schoolhouse supply is the only free store for Portland teachers to go and get supplies for some of the 20,000 children that live below the poverty level and attend Portland Public Schools. Alpine participated in their annual Celebrity Spelling Bee/Auction to help raise funds. At the beginning of each school year Alpine does a school supply drive and we encourage you to put this on your calendar and drop off supplies in our Lake Oswego office. All of your contributions are greatly appreciated.
